INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COMMISSION

The International Relations Commission of the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Akdeniz University is committed to advancing internationalization efforts in the fields of education, research and development, social contribution, entrepreneurship, and institutional capacity building.

Our faculty aims to strengthen academic engagement by fostering international collaborations that enhance student and academic/administrative staff mobility. In this regard, our commission actively initiates and expands international bilateral agreements and cooperation protocols while also providing guidance to international students to support their adaptation to the educational processes at our faculty.

Furthermore, we take the lead in establishing educational and research collaborations with international academics and ensuring the efficient execution of these processes.

OBJECTIVES OF THE FACULTY INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COMMISSION

In line with our internationalization goals, we aim to increase the global recognition and academic engagement of our faculty by fostering an educational environment that meets international standards through the following objectives:

- Enhancing international collaborations between our faculty and universities ranked among the world’s top 1000
- Increasing the number of bilateral agreements within the Erasmus+ program
- Strengthening international student and academic staff exchange programs at our faculty
- Expanding international education and teaching mobility within our faculty
- Supporting international students in effectively adapting to the educational processes at our faculty
- Playing an active role in international research projects and promoting academic publication collaborations
